David Wayne has Bachelor’s degree from CalPoly in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology and has been a personal trainer for 15 years. Before he started Wayne Personal Training, he spent five years working in physical therapy and athletic training.
“From exercise to nutrition, I know the ins and outs of the human system. I have trained people from ages 12-87. I’ve helped many people lose weight; but I have also created training programs that enhance sports performance for runners, adventure racers, swimmers, dancers, gymnasts, golfers, and for football, basketball, baseball, rugby, and soccer players. I also help athletes recover from sports injuries.”
David Wayne trained firefighters and military personnel at Fort Hunter Liggett in California, where he redesigned their nutritional and exercise programs. He runs an indoor boot camp all year long based on the same principles. He was the team athletic trainer for the inaugural season of the Portland Fighting Fillies, Portland’s women’s pro football team, and has trained numerous athletic groups with specialized plans.

“Being a personal trainer really is a great job. I get to help people feel better about themselves and live longer, happier lives!”
